Keep WordPress Updated At All Times!
I have already written about why I think you should build your website with WordPress, certainly all of your business blogs.
Sure, there are some WordPress dangers to look out for, like exporting your WordPress blog. But the way WordPress handles important things like SEO, and blog spam protection is why it's the leading website software.
In the past, I've never been one to update WordPress software when the new releases come out. But you definitely have to keep your eye on it. The latest version came out a while ago, and I've been sitting on the decision to try it out, waiting for the bug fixes that usually come with a new release to be ironed out.
However, I learned today not to sit back too long! I opened my website today with a coding error at the top of the screen.
I'm not a web developer, and you don't have to be a web developer to build websites with WordPress (which is one of WordPress's best features) so without boring you about the code error I received, just know this:
if you come onto your WordPress site one day and see that it is giving you errors that weren't there before: update your version of WordPress and all of your Plugins. Problem solved.
