Company Growth Podcast

If you’re looking to help your business grow online, we have plenty of company growth resources to help you do just that. Sometimes, though, you need more than resources: inspiration.

Running a business can be a grind,  and if one thing’s certain it’s that there will be ups and downs on your business growth journey. You can know that better days are ahead for your business, and you can know what you need to do to grow your business, but some days it can be hard to find the motivation, especially during a pandemic.

So even though we have more practical resources for you to look at to build your business and increase profits, (and there is a lot of it on our blog) there’s also plenty of inspirational content to help you through the lows. Content that shows you how other entrepreneurs have struggled (you’re not alone!) and how they have reached success because of the growing pains they met along the way, using a combination of innovation, strategy, and willpower.

If you’re tired of everyone saying “it took hard work to get where I am” without telling the whole story, and you want to know how bad things really got for them and all the times they could have quit, so in your own dark-night-of-the-soul moment you can learn to trust that you, too, will beat the growing pains all companies experience, listen to The Company Growth Podcast. We made it exactly for you.

How to Grow Your Business Online: Hear the Inspiring Story of RVezy

Joel Walters bought himself a Westfalia van: you’ve seen this kind of van, even if you’ve never heard the name Westfalia. Joel wanted a new way to spend vacations, and loved the time he spent travelling the countryside in that little van. But in the months between vacations, the vehicle sat by unused. Joel may have never imagined, as he first rented his beloved van to a complete stranger in the off-season, that this one little decision would turn into a dream career, and a lifestyle.

As you know, having a great business idea is only one part of the battle. For Joel and his colleagues at RVezy, they faced a challenge particular to RV culture. Owners of recreational vehicles tend to be particular about the way their RVs are kept. These vehicles are more than transportation, they are like a second home, they’re the place where family memories are made that last lifetimes. Not everyone is keen to loan out such a personal space to strangers.

How did RVezy overcome this challenge? Joel and his coworkers helped start a grassroots, word-of-mouth marketing campaign to reach RV owners wherever they congregated at music festivals, campgrounds, or RV meetups. It’s a surprising strategy that took their service from receiving one new listing a day to hundreds, and from national to international.
