Strategic Planning Workshop for Economic Development

Tangible Words and Amer & Associates will be leading a dynamic strategic planning workshop for the Ontario East Economic Development Commission (OEEDC) and OMAFRA to help you keep your rural community moving forwards in a way that will ensure your stakeholders will support your work.

This 2-day course will be offered in Belleville, Kemptville and Kingston starting on Thursday, May 14th. You can learn best practices (and insider information) from practitioners with a plethora of real examples to share. Whether you need to review your existing plan or develop your first one, learn first- hand the process, skills and resources you'll need to deliver a strategic plan.

The course is intentionally offered in advance of next year's budget time, so you can enter the planning season knowing what your community needs and how best to use your resources.  Leave with a sample strategic plan you can refer to repeatedly, and knowledge of how much data you need (and what questions to ask). You'll have time to work through your challenges during sessions and structured tasks to keep you motivated in between.

Who Should Attend this Strategic Planning Workshop?

Economic Developers, Elected Officials, Mayors, Municipal staff are invited to both days.
