What Is It Like To Work With Tangible Words?
Q: I’m not an Economic Development, Tourism, Manufacturing business, can you still help me?
A: We don’t limit ourselves to a particular sector, we get to know our clients and their industry so well you’ll want us to be a permanent part of your sales team. But we also want you to know we have accrued a massive bank of knowledge and experience in Economic Development, Tourism, and Manufacturing -- as well as a minimum of 15 other sectors, like Health and Wellness, Education and B2B businesses in general
Q: What is your response time?
A: Within 1-2 business days, and you are likely to get a same-day response. If ever you need immediate help, you are given direct lines to call.
Q: How available do you make yourself to me?
A: We’re a same-day phone call, email or face-to-face web meeting away. Our clients often hire us to come to their office to lead in-person facilitation's and staff training.
Q: I know the turn around for each project depends on its size but can you give me an average turnaround time for “small”, “medium”, and “large” projects?
A: There are a lot of factors that go into determining project size and subsequent turnaround time. But the good news is that we have a Quality Assured Process: that means your project is never going to get hung up by “writer’s block” - and even more, with PRINCE2 Project Management Certification - our company knows how to keep things moving to avoid unnecessary delays. Furthermore, we’re a team of multiple equally trained and experienced people - so we always have the resources to get things done (we even make use of different time zones to work faster!). And finally, as a rough estimate, we expect that we can write 5 pages of copy in 5 business days or less. Creating entire new websites usually takes 2-3 months (strategy, SEO content and web design & development).
Q: Do you ever have to extend deadlines you’ve set? If so, why?
A: One of the first jobs our copywriters learn is the importance of sticking to deadlines. We try to manage our team’s deadlines fairly and hire enough people to distribute the work. We also use PRINCE2 Project Management knowledge to keep people moving and working ahead. When a client’s needs change, or they offer new information, we try to dynamically accommodate. It is our commitment to fulfill our promises to you; if a client has competing interests, we’ll work with you to reevaluate and re-prioritize.
We have standing 2 week meetings with our retainer clients to keep projects on track, and we’re in communication on a weekly basis through our project management system and email. As long as the client gets back to us in a timely manner, adhering to deadlines is never an issue for Tangible Words.
Q: We’re in a rush to launch. Can you work on an accelerated schedule (E.g. do 12 months of work in 6)?
A: Yes, for an additional fee we are able to put a rush on things. But we discuss this with the client before agreeing - we would never want you to sacrifice steps in our process, which exist to guarantee you the kind of quality we know you expect.
Q: How do you know what our target audience (TA) needs?
A: You probably feel like an expert in who your TA is and what your TA needs (and your feelings are probably right!). But a copywriter’s job is to be an expert in how to talk to your TA.
Our content strategists does more than just write. They research your TA to understand their core values, what motivates them, and their emotions. Content strategists create a mental picture of a your TA and speak to that person - yes, we use conversational language! Content strategists think about the person on the other side of your marketing campaign and how to strike up a conversation with them.
Just as many times as a business really understands their target audience, they don’t. It doesn’t matter for our purposes - we investigate and reassess and help you articulate your most profitable audiences.
Furthermore, we dive deeper with our inbound marketing clients to develop Buyer Personas so that we know exactly how to speak to people as they move along their Buyer’s Journey.
Q: I’m really busy! How much input is required by me?
A: Expect a ratio where throughout our work together, we’re working 20 - 40 hours to your 1 hour.
That said, the process is collaborative: we need you to arm us with access to files, as well as to work with us on editing rounds to get an end result you’re 100% delighted by.
Creating your website and digital strategy is also a very formative process for most organizations: we find it always leads to you and your team making decisions that really help you improve and grow. If you’re happy to hand over the reins, we’re happy to take the lead.
Q: I’m very hands on! How often do I get to check in to review content?
A: Absolutely nothing will go live without your approval. Ever. We also offer editing rounds and a process that helps you get what you want.
Further, we use an online project management platform so that you can always see the status of a project, the steps completed, and the tasks ahead.
